Become A Ventriloquist- Ventriloquism Made Easy
In his quest to find how to become a ventriloquist, the student must work with the throat in the production of the different voices required in figure working.
First comes the “Punch” voice which, as its name indicates, is a close imitation of that used for the puppet Punch in “Punch and Judy” shows. A Punch and Judy performer uses a little instrument (made by winding a narrow piece of cloth or tape over and between two curved pieces of tin) to produce this voice, but this is not allowable for a ventriloquist who stands in full view, and the voice must therefore be produced naturally.
To do this, recall just how the Punch voice sounds or take the first opportunity to listen to a good Punch and Judy performer; or think of the higher notes of a clarinet or the sound of a squeaking door. Then bring the teeth together and stretch the tongue until it touches the roof of the mouth near the back of the front upper teeth.
Then say, “Judy, Judy, where are you, Judy?” in as high a tone as you can command. The position of the tongue throws the sound into the cavity of the nose, thus imparting to the voice the strong nasal quality which is needed. It also has the sound of a high-pitched reed instrument, and the more reedy and metallic you can make it the better.
If the student has difficulty in getting just the right tone, place the tongue as before and say “Th-e-e-e-k,” prolonging the “e’s” and thinking of the punch voice or the sound made by a clarinet, as before.
This voice is utilized for the speech of a querulous old woman and for the imitation of ordinary instruments, the crowing of a bantam, the talk of a parrot, the sound of a mandolin string, the voice of a young child, the mewing of a cat, the bleating of a lamb, etc.
In a little lower key, and less nasal in quality, it may be used for either an Irish or Negro figure. If you can produce it easier than you can the graver voices, adopt it for the figure which carries on most of the dialogue, and vice versa if the deeper voices are more easily made. Always favor yourself in little ways like this as much as possible, as you can do best that which requires the least effort.
When you are starting to know how to become a ventriloquist, once you have acquired facility with the Punch voice, repeat the easy letters of the alphabet in that voice slowly and carefully. Then, after a few minutes’ rest, run them over again, first saying the letter in your natural voice and then in the Punch voice, and so on-alternating each letter in your ordinary tone with the same one in that of Punch. By this means you accustom your throat to instant change from one voice to another.
When you can go through this exercise with ease you may try a little dialogue at a curtain or a Japanese screen:
Vent. “You may not be aware of it, ladies and gentlemen, but I have reason to believe that there is an old woman behind this curtain (or screen).” (You say this with your face turned squarely toward the imaginary audience, then turning toward the screen say quickly in the Punch voice.) “What do ye call me?” A short and amusing conversation should then ensue.
Now the dialogue may not seem very brilliant but if it is rightly done it will have a good effect and prove amusing. After learning it thoroughly and giving it considerable practice, the student may venture to try it before his own family and if they aver that it is “not so bad” he can begin to astonish his friends and acquaintances, and thus make a start toward acquiring fame as a ventriloquist even while he is learning.
You are now ‘on your way.’ to knowing how to become a ventriloquist.

Life, Gifts and Death: Superstitions About Clocks
Superstitions have a way of sticking sticking through time. Even when we have science and technology to clarify phenomena, we still have faith in things best left by the wayside of history. Take these old wives’ tales about clocks, for example, that still wield considerable influence on some societies.
Death and Clocks
When someone in the house dies, you must stop the decorative wall clock at the hour of his/her death. Of course, this has a practical function in terms of establishing the hour of death – you know, just in case somebody has a bet hingeing on it – but this also left me bewildered.
Only when the burial is finished should the said clock be started again allegedly to symbolize a new period in the family’s life. Yeah, right. In the midst of my grief, I’m supposed to be thinking about my father’s collectible mantel clocks.
As to church clocks, these timepieces also signal death in some instances. These include:
* Somebody in the parish will be dead within the week when the clock strikes while a hymn is being sung.
* If during the wedding service, the clock strikes, one of the couple will die within a year.
* If two clocks somehow strike together, a married couple will die shortly thereafter.
These superstitions definitely bring a new meaning to mortal time on Earth! Maybe I should start ditching some of my nautical table clocks just in case two of them should strike the same hour and my children find themselves orphaned.
Clocks as Gifts
No matter the state of your finances, never ever give clocks as gifts to your Chinese hosts! This is due to thestrong homonyms present in the Chinese language wherein “giving a clock” sounds suspiciously like “sending to the death”.
However, you are permitted to give the gift of a watch to your Chinese hosts. Why? Well, because the Chinese term for “watch” is different from that of “clock” so it’s alright. Just make sure that it’s not an imitation watch though.
Clocks on New Year
From the colorful Chinese again comes the observance of wounding up the clocks around the house as soon as the New Year begins. This is supposed to bring good luck and good fortune in the coming year to the whole household. Well, just so long as I don’t have to walk up and down the stairs seven times for good luck, this practice seems alright.
Still, I wonder why man has to make belief systems around things that they invented themselves. It’s like the atheists said: Why worship a concept – God, in this case – that you created in the first place?

This tiny guide to looking after your wrist-watch is meant to help answer some of those questions we all have but have never troubled to really find out the answer to. There’s much argument between watch buffs about certain sides of timepiece maintenance. Many folks accept the exclaiming, “don’t fix it if it’s's not broken.”
These are some things you might need to understand to help in keeping your timepiece running for years ahead.
Different Band Types and How to Adjust Them…
You may find that the band desires adjustments when you have purchased a second hand or new watch:
There is some sort of adjustment available in the clasp in the case of a band, and this is thru a pin that’s spring-loaded, locking into the clasp’s holes. Usually no problem to attempt this adjustment employing a tool thin enough to press the pin from the outside and so release it. Be careful, though. These small pins can do a trapeze act and fly to the other side of the room, usually never to be found again. Always make sure that the watch is on a fabric or such like before attempting this adjustment or you can find you have incidentally scratched the side of the case or dented the crown.
Straps often have multiple holes so finding a cushty position is generally easy. If not, employ a button hold sewing tool to make a new hole.
Wait, the band’s links might need to be removed.
Some bracelets use push pins and others used screws for attaching links to one another. If you do not have the tools to do this ( like watchmakers’ screwdrivers or bracelet pin removal tools ) then generally it is best left to a watchmaker. In the case of screws and if you have the correct screwdriver then ensure that the bracelet is held extraordinarily strongly before attempting to unscrew the screw ; again there are consultant bracelet holders for this. Having said that , it is critical the screwdriver, except for being the proper size is also of the correct thickness – otherwise you can end up with a damaged screw slot.
Push pins, well firstly there are generally little arrows on the bottom of the links indicating which way the pin should be pushed out – obvious maybe but worth discussing; some pins are of the split type pure and simple, these are normally found on lower-mid range watches. Again, it is feasible to remove them yourself if you’ve got an instrument that will fit the pin hole right and if you can secure the band. It’s enough to get rid of the split pin type with a light tap of the tool. Very fastidiously, the links are inserted and the pins replaced from the opposite end. If you don’t feel comfortable with doing this it is better to search out a pro watchmaker.
You’ll have more problems with solid-type pins because these have special collars which should be in the right place on the band. Solid pins are usually an extremely tight fit and without the expert tools I might personally recommend that you take the watch to a watchmaker for this. If you don’t want to be sorry, it’s better to be safe!
Winding your timepiece….
How do I wind a manual watch?
If you’ve a manual wind watch, then attempt to wind it at the same time each day, it’s probably best wound in the morning as you’ll have optimum power throughout the day, possibly therefore more consistent timekeeping. When winding a manual wind watch, do so relatively slowly and constantly ; when it is fully wound you’ll feel resistance as the mainspring tightens. That is your sign that it is good! Don’t try and force it any further as damage could be done both to the mainspring itself and to parts in the escapement.
Vital to remember! When winding a manual wind watch, it is extremely sensible to take the watch off! Why? It’s possible that you’ll put nonessential tax on the winding stem if you keep the watch on. I have seen people wind their watch by causing a finger under the crown and then winding by a forward and back ward motion of the said finger! This isn’t a smart idea.
My watch is an automated, does it need winding?
Well, it does if it has stopped! Some less expensive automatics don’t have a manual winding capability; in such cases you should swing the watch carefully in an arc for a minute or so to get the watch running. For those with a manual wind capability, you have to put the movement in a perfect state of wind to start with by giving the watch roughly 35 to forty gentle turns. To keep the watch wound for some time, normal arm movement is enough. If you are reasonably active, then it should be OK to leave the watch off overnight without any farther manual winding.
the Easy Way to Set Your Timepiece…
Date and time setting?
OK, well firstly a watch equipped with a date feature will usually have 3 positions for the crown: in, pulled out one click ( for date setting ) and pulled out two clicks (for time setting). Easy enough. two pointers on how to do this. First, wind the hands slowly when setting the time; doing this much too quickly will prematurely wear the elements. Comparatively slowly and delicately is fine and preferably in a clockwise direction. Unless a watch permits this particularly, don’t adjust the time backwards through midnight. 2nd, avoid using the quickset or fast date advance feature between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM as you might seriously damage the date mechanism. If the timepiece stops, ensure you are sell into the safe section before you set the date and that you set the time once through midnight.

Will You Find A Whole House Air Purifier ?
Shopping around for an air cleaner or purifier has probably proven to you that most that are sold these days are just small ones designed for a single room or maybe two.
If you are finding the small ones, then you have realized they are really only good for taking care of a single room. But there are ones designed for the entire home, Here you go.
As previously mentioned, many department stores only carry a small selection of air purifiers. There are a number of different reasons why these air purifiers only tend to be air purifiers that are designed for small spaces, instead of the whole house. One of those reasons is because of limited floor space. In retail, retailers often try and place as many items inside their stores as they possibly can. Sometimes, larger items, especially items that may take up a large amount of space, are left out. The lack of space is why a large number of traditional department stores do not carry whole house air purifiers; however, it is important to note that some will.
If you are looking for a whole house air purifier, you are advised to check out your local home improvement store, especially if you would like to shop locally. Home improvement stores tend to have a focus on home improvement projects. Technically, improving the air inside your home, especially the whole house, can be considered a home improvement project. That is why a large number of home improvement stores carry a selection of air purifiers, including those that are designed for the whole house.
In addition to shopping at a local home improvement store, you should also be able to find whole house air purifiers online. In fact, if you are looking for the best prices or a larger selection of products, you may want to give online shopping some thought. With online shopping, you can easily compare prices, in a matter of minutes. When shopping online, you will want to search for the online websites of air purifier manufacturers, as well as the online websites of home improvement stores, home stores, or traditional department stores.
Although whole house air purifiers are ideal, especially if you want to clean up the air inside your whole house, you will often find that they are more expensive, when compared to most traditional air purifiers. In fact, whole house air purifiers can cost anywhere from three hundred dollars to a thousand dollars. Despite this high cost, you need to remember the cost of individual air purifiers. Depending on the number of rooms in your home, it is almost always cheaper to purchase a whole house air purifier instead of multiple air purifiers for each room. So, technically, in the long run, you may also be saving yourself money.
Whole house air purifiers work when they are attached to your homes heating or cooling systems. Despite being attached to your heating or cooling systems, you may find that your whole house air purifier needs maintenance. This maintenance may include a replacement filter. Whether or not the air purifier of your choice needs replacement filters is extremely important. When purchasing an air purifier, especially one that needs to have its filters replaced, you need to examine the cost of those replacement filters. If they need to be changed on a regular basis or if the replacement filters are expensive, you may want to search for a cheaper alternative. Stream Energy Scam

Benefits Of Green Tea For Fatty People
Recent studies show that green tea can help greatly in the process of losing weight. It does it by increasing the body’s metabolism. If consumed regularly, it can help you burn as much as eighty calories extra. In a year, that’s about 8 pounds; you lose that much just by drinking, even without diet and exercise.
Have you read that green tea can help you lose weight? Studies show it does. If you are like and can’t consume too much caffeine and are on a quest to lose weight, you may be asking does decaffeinated green tea have the same value for weight loss as regular green tea. Weight loss program, will help you a lot. Go for it without any hesitation.
One of the greatest benefits of green tea is that it is all natural. It can be combined with herbs to cure different ailments. Many people have sworn by the healing properties of this beverage and use little else to cure themselves.
Dinking tea also burns more calories than just taking caffeine in pill form, as your body has to cool down the hot drink once it is inside you, and that takes energy. Tea can often burn more calories than it contains, meaning that could potentially help you to lose weight if you drink enough of it.
Green tea slows down the absorption of fats and regulates glucose. The same substance, cathechin polyphenol, restrains the transition of glucose into fats. By doing that, experts believe that green tea is an effective glucose regulator. It effectively prevents insulin spikes and slows the rise of blood sugar after every meal. Insulin, as specialists agreed upon, promotes the storage of fats as it deals with the body’s blood sugar.
Green tea does appear to increase the level of fat oxidation in the human body more than can be explained by the caffeine content alone. In fact the caffeine content of green tea is quite low and yet its fat oxidation properties are higher than those of black tea which contains more caffeine. This property of green tea to burn fat in people is called thermogenesis and it means your body is expending more energy. More energy expenditure means weight loss. If you really want to remove amount of fat from your body then visit www.bestweightlossgreentea.com/ you will get many more information.
Green tea’s anti-oxidants have also been shown to prevent diseases, including high cholesterol, heart disease and high blood pressure. All of these diseases are ones that plague the overweight.

Become A Ventriloquist: How To Hobby Right
When practicing to become a ventriloquist and studying the voice from afar technique, the student of ventriloquism should first call out ‘Hello’ in the natural voice, and try to imagine, when he repeats it ventriloquially, that the latter instead of requiring a separate attempt is merely the echo of an effect already finished. This effect can be used with your ventriloquism dolls.
When you have faithfully pursued this practice for a few days you may take up the imitation of a person talking from behind a door, which is one of the simplest and surest acquirements in ventriloquism. First, you must form a correct estimate of how such a voice would sound, and if you are not entirely clear in your own mind regarding this point, persuade a friend to actually carry on a conversation with you while shut up in another room.
There is only one distant voice but this is modified in various ways for the purpose of giving added effect to whatever imitations are attempted. A voice from behind a door near at hand is louder and more distinct and has a peculiar hollow, muffled tone which distinguishes it somewhat from one coming from a place more remote.
These characteristics can be produced by pressing the tongue against the teeth while the latter are set well together and the lips are slightly apart. Before speaking in the ventriloquial voice fill the lungs and keep the breath under good control. Of course in forming some of the words it will be found impossible to keep the tongue entirely still, but so long as it retains a position well forward in the mouth, the effect can be obtained.
When the student has assured himself that he is successful in his imitation of the voice, let him approach a door and apparently try to open it. Struggle a minute with the knob as if some one were holding it on the other side and then call out, “Will you kindly release your hold and allow me to pass through.” As quickly as possible reply in the ventriloquial voice, “No, you can’t come out this way.”
At this point your ventriloquism dolls can act as if strongly exasperated and apparently push and struggle against an opposing force with all their might. Finally by seemingly a greater effort you cause the door to fly back suddenly and at the same time give utterance to a loud “ha, ha, ha,” in the ventriloquial voice, as if some one were laughing at you in the room or hallway beyond.
Always bear in mind that the eye helps to deceive the ear, and make the action of pushing the door, etc., as natural as possible. The more realistic the ventriloquist makes his part the more effect his performance will have upon the public.
As far as voice alone goes, there are ventriloquists who can manipulate ventriloquism perfectly, but who, on account of lack of necessary actions, do not succeed in impressing their hearers very strongly. As a rule, when studying to become a ventriloquist remember that between a good actor who is a poor ventriloquist and a good ventriloquist who is a poor actor, the former will be more successful.
One month’s daily practice should be sufficient to enable the ventriloquist, by proper emphasis on a tone or syllable, to illustrate and bring out the salient points of any dialogues he may use, and to surprise and astonish those among his friends not familiar with the capabilities of the art, with the strange voices within him. There should be no straining after effect, but the student will find that what he has practiced much he can do well, and by perseverance alone can perfection be obtained.
To become a ventriloquist, it is especially important that the learner should have an accurate knowledge of the nice distinctions in sound, and this can only be obtained by a careful study of its several manifestations and differences. It is as necessary to judge nicely the effects of distance and direction on audible impressions, or sounds, as it is to acquire the power of speaking ventriloquially.
The student ventriloquist will do well to study this area carefully. He will then be able to produce many astonishing effects from his ventriloquism dolls which will impress his audience.

Finding A Job As A Weather Guy
Do you love the weather? If you love tracking the weather from your home, if you enjoy reading up on ways that the weather impacts our lifestyle and wildlife, you may be considered a weather enthusiast. If so, have you ever thought about taking your love of the weather and meteorology and turning it into a profitable career?
As nice as it is to hear that you can take your love for weather and meteorology and turn it into a career, you may be curious as to how you can go about doing so. Unfortunately, loving the weather as a hobby isn’t always enough to have a career in meteorology. That is why if you are interested in having a weather related job, you may need to prepare for doing so.
One of the first steps in having a career in meteorology is taking a few meteorology classes at a college or university. Of course, a few classes are good, but you may also want to consider receiving a degree in meteorology. Even if you are an adult, you can still return to college. If you are concerned about the cost of doing so, you may want to examine scholarships, grants, and other financial aid. What is nice about pursuing a degree in meteorology is that many colleges and universities in the United States have these degree programs.
When getting a degree in meteorology or at least the equivalent training, it is important that you start to think about the future. Although we often associate weather related careers with meteorologists, there are many other career opportunities out there. For example, you can be a meteorology teacher or college professor, a weather writer or photographer. Yes, you do not have to decide right away which career path you would like to take, but it may offer you assistance.
Speaking of having an idea as to what you would like to do, you may want to consider getting your foot in the door. When doing so, there are a number of different approaches that you can take. For example, if you are interested in working as a television or radio meteorologist, you may want to get a part-time job at one of your local television or radio stations, even if your position isn’t related to meteorology. Although you may be able to get a paid position, you may also find unpaid internship positions available as well. Although unpaid, internships do have a number of benefits.
The above mentioned steps are just a few of the many that you can take to end up with a career in meteorology or another weather related field. As a reminder, unless you already have a meteorology degree or unless you minored in it during college, you will likely have to start from scratch. Although this can be frustrating and although it can take a lot of time, hard work, and devotion, it will pay off in the end.
As outlined above, it can be relatively easy to acquire a job in the field of meteorology, once you have the required schooling and training. With that in mind, you may be uninterested in doing so. If that is the case, so be it. You do not have to work in the field of meteorology to enjoy the weather and all that it has to offer.

The Solar Car
A solar car is an electric-powered vehicle that runs on solar energy obtained from the solar panels on its surface. The solar panels are commonly found on the roof of the vehicle.
This type of vehicle is not entirely practical as of this moment, for obvious reasons. It needs to harness the power of the sun in order to operate. Without sunlight, the vehicle runs on the reserve power which is stored in its batteries.
Photovoltaic cells convert the sun’s energy into electricity, and this electricity runs the vehicle. That’s why solar cars are limited by the energy input from the sun, their main source of energy. This type of vehicle is typically manufactured for participation in solar car races.
Just like a typical race car, a solar race car has just enough room for the driver, although there are some designs that include room for a navigator. It does have several features similar to a normal car, such as an accelerator, a brake, rear view mirrors on the camera, and ventilation. It would also have a radio which would be used by the driver, in order to communicate with his support crew.
The Electrical System
Probably the most important component of a solar car is its electrical system. The electrical system controls all the power that comes in and out of the car. It doesn’t have a gas tank, but its battery essentially functions as one. The battery stores energy produced by the PV cells. There’s a wide range of batteries to choose from, but the most common ones are lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries (NiCd), nickel-metal hydride batteries (NiMH), lithium polymer batteries, and lithium-ion batteries. Most solar cars have gauges which monitor the entire electrical system. Among the things that one keeps an eye on, are the battery voltage, and the current.
The Design
The mechanical design of a solar car prioritizes on keeping friction and weight to a minimum, while maintaining sufficient strength so that it doesn’t disintegrate. These vehicles are usually made out of titanium or similar composites, which makes for a good strength-to-weight ratio.
Commercially Available Hybrids
Hybrid cars using solar power are commercially available, in limited quantities. The Toyota Prius is said to be able to generate up to 240 watts of electric power from its solar cells. That results in a 15 km drive, on a sunny day.
One practical application for the solar car would be to use its technology for golf carts, which are lightweight, are mainly used during the day, and are usually parked under the sun.
Our future will be bright when cars roam the streets using renewable energy such as solar power.

Inside Secrets! Become A Ventriloquist
So you want to become a ventriloquist? Ventriloquism requires the possession of certain qualities of voice, such as strength, clearness, flexibility and ready ability to change at will; ordinary strength in the cartilaginous membrane of the throat and the muscles of the abdominal regions, and some aptitude for mimicry, which of course is dependent upon a combination of qualities connected with the ear and the voice.
There are very few persons who cannot become a ventriloquist. Most people, even though whose ear is so imperfect that they cannot sing a little or imitate something, with practice and perseverance, could become acceptable if not great ventriloquists.
After taking a few lessons the student may find that he has a hitherto unsuspected talent for the art, which only needs proper cultivation to be made a source of amusement and profit. One must learn how to use the mouth and tongue to achieve certain results, how to speak interiorly with entirely motionless and almost closed lips, and how to make each of the sounds or voices used distinctive in tone, pitch and character.
To become a successful ventriloquist you must be cool, confident and something of an actor. The voices to him present no illusion, and he can judge of his success only by their effect upon his audience.
An actor impersonates only one role at a time, but the ventriloquist who uses figures must speak the lines of several different characters in as many different voices, and must at the same time be ready to question, argue, re-prove or interrupt in his natural voice.
Unlike the magician, who requires an elaborate “fit-up” to properly perform his illusions, ventriloquism always has the mysterious at its command. From a haystack by the country roadside or from behind the closed portals of an empty store or the depths of an open sewer in the city, he can evoke “spirits” to amaze and mystify the hearers, which yet exist in nothing more substantial than his own voice. Merely as a source of amusement, however, a practical knowledge of ventriloquism pays well for the time and effort spent in acquiring it in the amount of fun and glory one gets out of it, the relaxation it affords from the sterner duties of life, and the welcome pocket money which it brings to its successful exponent, which in a city, where one can be in touch with amusement agents, often amounts to considerable.
A half-hour’s exhibition of ventriloquism with the aid of mechanical figures, which carry on a bright and amusing dialogue with the performer and possibly contribute a song or two, varied by conversation with invisible people or imitations of various tools and musical instruments will often be eagerly accepted as an agreeable departure from the monotony of readings and vocal and instrumental music usually given at local entertainments.
If you possess a voice of at least moderate range and power, and an ear that is fairly accurate in sensing sound impressions, you should have the ability, with practice, to become a ventriloquist.

Which Muscle Building Workout Is Right For You?
A better living condition can most often be achieved through regular exercise and a healthy diet. You can decide on what you would like to exercise. Do you want to gain muscles? Do you want a cardio workout? How much time do you have to devote to your workout? These are all questions that should be answered before you start doing anything. When you have an idea on that your gonna choose a diet. This diet could be put together so that it may have protein, calcium and whatever is required to get the maximum out of the workout. One’s degree of commitment plays an important role in how much money one is willing to spend on eating healthy and taking the right vitamins.
Simply, you will benefit the most by putting your best effort into your exercise routine. Do Not expect to go and buy 40 Protein shakes and drink them daily with out a workout. You won’t like the results. There are all kinds of workouts available these days, many different kinds of equipment being advertised, and all sorts of fad diets too. Most of these are just a technique to see you and your money part ways. If you want to achieve results, there is no secret diet or celebrity-endorsed exercise machine that is going to do it.
Its all about hard work. There are things you must do to have muscle building success. You have to work the muscles to exhaustion approximately every other day (you must give them time to mend, so you cant work them every day) and you have to increase the amount of weight you are lifting or pushing. Unless you are doing some kind of illicit drug to get results (which can have dire consequences), you just have to really exert yourself. It really helps if you enjoy working out. Encouraging results, like increased muscle mass, provides further impetus to continue working out and continue getting results.
I have a lot of stress in my life these days. The stresses of an increasingly result driven workplace can be compounded by the stresses of family and home management. Not to mention the natural slowdown in metabolism when a man is in his 30′s. All this makes exercise a must in my life. Of course, not all exercise is created equal. I started by taking walks. First I was only able to walk for 15 minutes before I was all sweaty and tired. After couple of weeks, I was able to walk longer. I was finding that it was no longer challenging to walk because it was too slow paced.
I was not getting the results I wanted, and it took to long. That’s when I discovered muscle building workout. My workout, normally three times weekly, usually starts with 30 cardio minutes on the treadmill or elliptical machine. Then I do up to 20 minutes routine of weight lifting. Mondays are usually upper body day. Typically, my workout consists of dumb-bell bench presses, followed by lateral pull-downs, and butterfly presses. However, I switch it up on Wednesdays by doing bicep and tricep curls. Fridays are leg days consisting of squats, incline leg presses, and hamstring leg curls.
This weekly routine allows me to be in the gym for about an hour, and leave refreshed and energized to chase after my two year old.

Wisconsin Vacations Should Include a Getwaway to the Wind Point Lighthouse in Racine
Just outside of Racine, WI is the small town of Wind Point. It is right on the edge of Lake Michigan. Michigan tourism should include a vacation to this little hamlet and the wonderful Wind Point Lighthouse. The wonder of the facility and the history that surrounds it make for an exciting destination on your trip.
Visiting the Racine area will provide you many opportunities to experience some beautiful sights. You will be able to explore the history of the area as well as visit some quality museums, but the one that will probably stick in your mind for a long time is the vacation to the edges of Lake Michigan and the views you will see from the Wind Point Lighthouse. Take along a picnic lunch to eat on the grounds. Observe the waves break as they roll up from this powerful lake and think about all the seamen that have traversed these waters during the years to haul goods to the area or to pick up goods for trade at distant points. Enjoy the time to enjoy the opportunity to feel the power, learn of the history and appreciate the architecture from the past that built this structure from the days before modern cranes and computer generated graphics. It is quite a site.
One of the more popular Wisconsin attractions, the light house itself is closed except for special days but the facilies are open to the public everyday from sunrise to eleven pm The light house is open on the first Sundays in June, July, August, September, and October. Due to the high demand to see for miles at the top of the lighthouse, reservations are necessary. Light Station Tours run from ten a.m. to five and there is a $10 per person fee.
You will be able to learn about the history of this lighthouse when you visit. It was built in 1880 and is the oldest and tallest Lighthouse in existance on Lake Michigan. Although it started out with Kerosene-fired lenses it was electrified in 1924 and then modernized in 1964. Since the station soars 110 feet at its focal plane the light is visible for a distance of nineteen miles. Just think of the thousands of sailors who have been saved from disaster because of this Lighthouse leading the way to home.
The lighthouse was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The town of Wind Point was awarded ownership of the land by the National Park Service in 1997. The Coast Guard still maintains the lighthouse as a public navigation aid.
Arrive and view this beautiful part of history and perhaps, take a trip to tour the other Lighthouses on the lakeside. It will make a fantastic Wisconsin vacation for you.
