Romantic Vacations for Reconnecting After a Breakup
Believe it or not, romantic vacations to reconnect after a breakup can be all a relationship needs to get things back on track. But where can you enjoy a romantic vacation? When you’re working to rekindle the fires of your formerly red hot romance this can be a big question.
Here are a few great places to get away for a romantic escape.
New Orleans
It’s about so much more than great food and even greater music. The Big Easy is also a very romantic place to visit. There are lots of great shops, bars, and entertainment venues in and around the French Quarter and Garden District. Outside the city there are romantic plantation bed and breakfast inns for an added touch of romance. Don’t forget to take a carriage ride through the French Quarter or to go on one of the haunted tours.
Visit during the summer months when there is live music on the streets and the fragrance of magnolias in the air. The heat is definitely on but it’s a sultry kind of heat that serves the cause of romance well. But it’s really important to make this trip about working on your romance and not about taking in the sights and sound of New Orleans.
San Francisco
The Golden Gate Bridge by moonlight is one of the most romantic sights to see in the U.S. But that’s not all the romance that Frisco has to offer. Some of the other sights you might want to take in to keep the romantic theme going include: San Francisco Botanical Garden, Napa Valley Wine Tours, and visiting Sausalito. Make plans to ride a cable car during your stay as well.
San Francisco is also home to quite a few romantic restaurants and hotels to make your visit even more special. If you like to walk and talk while taking in new sights and sounds there are other attractions that are sure to keep you entertained and enjoying your time together like Fisherman’s Wharf, Lombard Street, and Alamo Square.
Coastal Maine
There’s more to this part of the country than great seafood restaurants. There are tons of small towns littered with beautiful ocean views, stunning lighthouses, and romantic bed and breakfast inns. You can either find a great location and stay there for your entire romantic trip or you can travel the coastline from one inn to the next taking in all the great romance this part of the country has to offer.
The key to romantic trips designed to reignite your passion is that you must both be open to the possibilities of a future together. These locations are definitely filled with romance but the love has to come from the two of you.
If you’re still trying to figure out how to get your ex back, there’s no reason why you can’t start planning your romantic escape in your mind.
